About
TYSON is an emerging musician at LMP (Ladies Music Pub), an organization for women, non-binary, and gender transgender people working in and out of the music industry.
To develop a visual language for TYSON, our team started with her identity and the narrative contained in her new album 'cherry'. TYSON has a dreamy voice and her music is based on 90's music and culture. Like the relationship between her dreams and the real world, she wanted to use social media and online platforms such as the metaverse to promote her music and communicate with her fans between the digital and real world. We have researched and done several ways to appeal to audiences in the digital realm, such as Metaverse or NFTs.
Through this project, we explored what kind of visual expression methods can maximize her identity and the narrative of the new ep 'cherry'.
Our UIUX elements allows the audience to experience her albums and music in a different way through the digital world. This project builds a new surreal world and tells the story in it in a variety of ways through images, stories and films.
Building a concept
Visual aesthetic moodboard
Based on the concept of 'Illusion of Love', we created a mood board about overall visual aesthetics.
This aesthetic of this concept was inspired by the paintings of surrealist painter René Magritte
and the surrealistic and romantic photography of Man Ray.
We borrowed the method of arranging objects in unfamiliar spaces to give them a bizarre feeling of love, like an illusion.

After completing the concept and story building, we composed a list of outcomes with the types of contents that can maximize the concept 'Illusion of Love’ of this project. Among them, we especially focused on album photography shooting and creating metaverse content.![]()

The shape of this logo was inspired by the shape of a cherry fruit hanging from a thin stem by rounding the end of the letter.
TYSON wants to convey a sexy and playful feeling through the 'cherry' album. The letters are designed in a free arrangement and fluid form that looks like they were written with cherry syrup.

Hard chrome texture represents that she will have a strong heart at the end of love. The different shapes of the two leaves mean that the two hearts meet and become one, like love.

We visualised the entire journey of TYSON's new album '𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲' with the concept of ‘Illusion of love’. Falling in love is like entering a surreal utopia. In love, we repeat the process of rejoicing and being disappointed. And at the end of this journey, we find ourselves stronger than before, and realise that what we need the most is ourselves.

When we think about ‘love’, we easily imagine a perfect ideal world like a utopia (Surreal world). We dream of ideal love infused by the media. There is strangely beautiful scenery we can never reach, but we can reach there with our hearts when we fall in love.
Scene 02.

When we ‘fall in love’ for the first time, it feels like walking on the clouds, dancing on the moon with stars.
In a bizarre and surreal digital world, a girl meets her lover and falls in love. Strange flowers and clouds are in full bloom around them, and they are having a dreamy time there.

Scene 03.
Heartbreaking
in the Surreal world (Dystopia)
Unfortunately, that feeling doesn't last long. Sometimes it feels like a disaster and it confuses us. The song starts with disappointment and questions if they expect too much from the other.
The girl is hurt in the process of love and looks the countless emotions she has gone through the mirror. The girl is confused by complex emotions. Overflowing complex and sad emotions engulf the girl.

Scene 04.
Self reflection & Self love
in Real world
At the end of this process, she can see herself one step more mature.
She is wearing all those contradictory emotions. She accepts all the romantic feelings and sadness that the fantasy gave her without turning away. From happy emotions to sad emotions in a surreal world, it was a necessary element for growth in the real world. These chrome flowers symbolise reflection and her strong heart.

This is an interactive website where users can directly experience and explore the album's overall story through the website's UIUX. When users click each element of the land, it will be connected to an external link(social media, official website, etc.).

It is a snowball with each land. Each snowball expresses each emotion with sparkling and fantastic particles.
It is a perfume that embodies each emotion. Each perfume has a scent that is based on emotion.
